Newly opened in September, Cosaleais a multipurpose venue that offers both office and function space, with a delicious community style cafe being the star attraction.
Filled with the finest of the boroughs locally sourced, bread, cakes and seasonal fruit and vegetables, this cafe prides itself in supporting the local economy.
Lisa is not new to the business as she also successfully runs The Victoria in Walshaw. She said, “We started a brand new takeaway service at the Victoria during COVID so we could still supply our customers. Whilst it proved to be a great success, it was also a steep learning curve trying to implement efficient systems for our kitchen and online ordering. It’s really helped me with the opening of Cosalea, as I soon realised that we needed to have a simple ordering system where customers can visit our own website and order direct for delivery or collect it themselves. We have now rolled out this simple ordering system in both the pub and Cosalea”.
Keen to be involved with the local community their function room is already hosting Baby Moo sessions and becoming a Community Hub for meetings from local businesses.
And the unique name? Lisa explained to Your Local Bury that her family is the main reason why she strives so hard to achieve and to become a good role model for her children.
When creating her brand, she looked to her own daughters for inspiration and actually used an amalgamation of their three names to create ‘Cosalea’ as the name of her new venture.
