Read on to discover everything you need to know about what our students love about the University of Bolton.

#UniAsItShouldBe – What Does It Mean?

Before we tell you more about the National Student Survey results, it is important to establish what we mean by #UniAsItShouldBe. You will see that we use this hashtag a lot, as it is something that we live by. But what does this mean for you? #UniAsItShouldBe is all about providing a learning experience that is positive and supportive. We put the needs of our students first. We put ourselves in your shoes to ensure we deliver a university experience that provides everything you expect and more.

From career support to interactive learning environments and state-of-the-art facilities, we have left no stone unturned when it comes to this. Plus, it is something we are committed to, as we continue to invest in our university to ensure that our students enjoy the latest technologies and the best possible learning spaces.

7 Reasons We’re the Top University in the North West
Our dedication to offering #UniAsItShouldBe has led to the University of Bolton coming out on top in a number of key areas in this year’s National Student Survey. We were delighted to take the top spot in not just one but seven key categories within the North West. These are as follows:
1. Top for Teaching on the Course
2. Top for Learning Opportunities
3. Top for Assessment and Feedback
4. Top for Academic Support
5. Top for Learning Community
6. Top for Student Voice
7. Top for Students’ Union

What makes this even more special is the fact that it was voted for by students. Therefore, our students voted the University of Bolton as the best university in the North West in so many different ways, which is something that we are incredibly proud of.
You will notice that one of the categories relates to giving students a voice, and this is something that we are very passionate about when it comes to delivering on our #UniAsItShouldBe promise.

We listen to our students to determine what they need from their university so that we can continually improve and provide students with the experience they are looking for and require for their future success.

Aside from this, the University of Bolton is incredibly proud to thrive when it comes to providing learning opportunities and academic support for our students. We are always looking for ways to make sure that every course is as well-rounded as possible and provides numerous opportunities for learning and progression once the course has concluded.
