Prestwich Toy Appeal

The team behind the Prestwich Classic Commercial Road Run which was unfortunately postponed this year to due Covid 19 are organising an event to help the Wood Street Mission Christmas Appeal. They are asking for a single unwrapped new toy to be donated to help less fortunate children this Christmas.

One of the groups classic commercial vehicles will be dressed up as a sleigh and with Father Christmas’ help, they will be visiting local supermarkets on the 11th December to collect your donations. At 9am they will be at Morrison’s in Whitefield and then from noon at Tesco in Prestwich. At approximately 2.30pm the sleigh will then parade down with lights flashing via Bury New Road and Deansgate to deliver the presents directly to the Wood Street Mission.
