Charity Calender Foodbank Cheque

Your Local BURY Magazine were delighted to present Trinity Foodbank with a substantial cheque this spring. The donation of £850 was the culmination of the proceeds from the sale of our 2021 charity calendar which featured local amateur photographers submitting local scenes and wildlife pictures and many kind donations from our dedicated readers.

Tina Harrison from Corrie Gardeners and her team of volunteers were thrilled to accept the cheque on behalf of the Radcliffe based charity. She told Your Local BURY “We were delighted to be nominated to be the Your Local BURY 2021 charity especially as we have seen such a rise in local families needing our help during this pandemic. Without our community supporting the food bank many of our families would be struggling even more. This donation will be spent on our Amazon wish list where we constantly add supplies that need replenishing in the food bank”.
