Charity & Business Partner Raise Much Needed Funds!!

Although many fundraising events are put on hold this past year, one Bury charity is looking at other opportunities to try and increase their donations total.

Teaming up with White Tree Events, Annabelle’s challenge can now offer venue dressing with all the proceeds going to help children just like Annabelle. Diagnosed in December of 2012, Annabelle then aged 3 and her parents had to cope with the life changing diagnosis of vascular Ehlers – Danlos Syndrome or vEDS. This is a genetic syndrome where even the slightest knock could shockingly kill her.

Jared her father describes this as a ticking timebomb “Both myself and my wife Sarah knew we had to raise awareness and to try and raise much needed money for other families going through this like ourselves. We also wanted to push research into treatment for the future and that is why we started Annabelle’s Challenge. However, the recent pandemic has hit the charity hard as we have had to cancel many planned events through 2020/21. We are encouraging people to do their own online events like virtual quizzes and even virtual coffee mornings, but we knew we had to try and raise much more to try and meet the shortfall this year.

Sarah, Annabelle’s mum told Your Local BURY Magazine “Teaming up with White Tree Events to create Annabelle’s Event Hire is the lifeline the charity needed to carry on with their vital work. We cover a 30-mile radius and offer a beautiful event styling for every occasion from coordinated chair covers to twinkling backdrops. Our trusty team of volunteers dress and make the venue look so special for any event, with all the proceeds going straight back to the charity helping families both in the UK and across the globe.”

So, if you are planning an event this year from a small intimate wedding to a large event when lockdown has lifted, then support a charity and have your venue looking amazing.
