PPE HQ are continuing with their mission to help keep local residents safe throughout the pandemic with their range of face masks, hand sanitiser and cleaning products.
As we all know, the past year has been a very trying time for everyone. A lot of people haven’t seen their family members for a considerable amount of time, with video and telephone calls becoming the new norm. Thankfully, there is an end in sight, thanks to a successful vaccine rollout and an effective national lockdown. On 29th March, the government allowed outdoor gatherings of either 6 people or 2 households, which makes it a lot easier for families and friends to meet outside. On top of this, outdoor business sports facilities such as basketball and tennis courts opened, allowing you to take part in formally organised outdoor sports. While all of this is great news, PPE HQ is urging you not to become lax when it comes to keeping yourself and your family safe.
Ben Jennings, Managing Director of PPE HQ explains, “Over the past 12 months, we have met some incredible local residents, who all have their own stories to share about how they have coped with local lockdown restrictions. We are slowly beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, which is fantastic. However, we need to make sure that we are all still playing our part in keeping ourselves, family members and friends protected.”
Ben continues, “It is still vital to wear face masks when visiting shops and travelling on public transport, and you need to make sure that the masks you are wearing are fit for purpose and will effectively protect you. We have a range of disposable 3 ply masks, for both adults and children, that have been extensively tested to ensure that they exceed all of the necessary safety requirements. We have just introduced the masks in a 5 pack box, which is designed to easily fit into a handbag or pocket, making them easy to carry around when out and about.”
“With the rule of 6 now allowing families and friends to meet outdoors, we need to be careful when interacting with each other. If you are planning on having a picnic together, use our 75% alcohol wipes to wipe down any surface you may use before sitting down. Put on a pair of disposable gloves when putting out and touching food and drinks, and finally make sure you are using alcohol hand sanitiser throughout your time together to make sure your hands stay clean. Sticking to this will dramatically cut the risk of spreading not just COVID-19, but any other germs as well.”
