Back In The Swing

During the 2020 lock down, as people looked for something to do in their gardens there was a significant upturn in the sale of garden croquet sets, this has now led to an increasing interest in the game of croquet.

Bury Croquet Club has recently had a number of new players taking part in free taster sessions currently taking place. The club has two venues in Whitehead Park Bury, and Coronation Park Radcliffe, both conveniently situated
close to the town centres.

Roy Spencer, Publicity Officer for the club suggests that having enjoyed the game in your garden why not try the real thing? Croquet is a Covid safe sport as it is played socially distanced and is non- contact. Female & male of all ages play on an equal footing.

So, if you are looking for a healthy but not too strenuous outdoor activity, and a great social life contact the club on enq@burycroquet.com to arrange a free taster session.
