A Diamond Card From The King

Morrisons Whitefield Community Champion Rochelle Gardner was delighted to attend the Coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey on 6th May, after receiving an official invitation from the Palace.
Rochelle told Your Local BURY, “It was an amazing day that I will never forget. I had to pinch myself that I was really there, it was such an honour to be part of the occasion.”

Having been given an opportunity to be the Community Champion for the Whitefield store, ten years ago, Rochelle has excelled in the role with her dedication to support local charities and good causes.

Last year, she was awarded the BEM (British Empire Medal) for her charity work as the Morrisons Whitefield Community Champion.

“I feel extremely lucky to have been given the opportunity to be the Community Champion for Whitefield store. I have made so many connections and met some really nice people, who I would call friends and learnt so much about what goes on in communities, and what still needs to be happening to support so many families and charities, that it just drives me to continue to do as much as I can.”
