A new service has been launched to support those looking for employment, new skills and looking after their health.

The service, which aims to provide all this guidance under one roof, is provided by Shaw Trust, Bury Adult Learning, Economic Development, InWork GM, The Mosses Centre, National Careers Service, Bury College, Six Town Housing and many more.

Bury residents are invited to drop in to the Mosses Centre (Cecil Street, Bury, BL9 0SB) on any Wednesday between 10.30am and 3pm.

Help is available to complete your job search, identify suitable training, submit job applications and prepare for interviews. Advice is also given on health or any other matter than might affect your journey into employment.

Councillor Rishi Shori, leader of Bury Council, said: “Bury has many fantastic services that support local residents throughout their journey into employment. I’m excited by this collaboration and hopeful that this one-stop approach will help Bury residents quickly and easily access the support that best meets their individual needs, helping them towards their employment goals.”
