Situated in the very heart of Ramsbottom, Bartisserie2 is fast becoming the go to place for fine dining and afternoon tea. Having grown up in Tottington and attending Bury Grammar School, owner and chef, Ethan Ballan, has his roots firmly planted in the local area. Starting as a pot washer
at The Red Lion in Hawkshaw, this only served to fuel his already inherited love of food and cooking. After studying professionally, it wasn’t long before his passion took him to London, where he was lucky enough to find work at the prestigious Dorchester Hotel, firstly in the pastry kitchen and
latterly in the afternoon tea section. Having travelled to Brunei to create afternoon tea for the Sultan and his family, Ethan is more than ready to delight the discerning diners of Ramsbottom and surrounding areas. Etan said, “Ramsbottom has been getting busier and busier the last few years and when Lolo’s became available the size and location was perfect for what I wanted to do.” So, whether it’s a light lunch, afternoon tea or a fine dining experience, Ethan and his dedicated team are sure to have you returning for more. With its modern, art deco theme, in both the restaurant and bar, it’s the ideal place to sample the specials of the day, enjoy a relaxing drink or for that special occasion why not book the private dining room. Whatever the reason, with its mouth-watering array of exquisite cakes on offer throughout the day, to eat in or take out, you certainly won’t be disappointed at Bartisserie2.
