2018 Goals…

When it comes to setting some goals for the year ahead, there are usually in most lists the popular; get fitter, cut down on alcohol and stop smoking. Here’s a few other ideas that might help you enjoy a happy 2018!

Spend More Time Outdoors
Spending time in nature makes you happier; it boosts your immune system, and can even makes you more creative. Get off the sofa, turn off the TV and mobiles and try going for walks in the countryside.

Travel
We Brits love a holiday so try setting a goal to visit a country you’ve always wanted to see.

Volunteer
There are few things more satisfying than giving to those less fortunate. Volunteering can give you a sense of purpose, increase your self-esteem, and make you happier.

Start A Hobby
Keep your life interesting and add some more purpose by starting a new pastime, preferably something that interests you. Learn Something Each Day Keep your mind active and increase your knowledge of the world by trying to learn something new each day.

Be More Grateful
Apparently, studies show that gratitude can make you 25% happier, overcome adversity, help sleep, and reduce stress. Give it a try to be more grateful in 2018.

Get More Sleep
You probably already know that a good night’s sleep can do wonders for your mood and appearance.

But sleep is more beneficial to your health than you might realize. A lack of sleep can lead to all manner of negative things, so get into the habit of going to bed at a reasonable time – and take a nap if you feel really tired.

Try Meditation
Life appears to be more pressured these days, so why not reduce your stress levels by trying out meditation & relaxation exercises? It just takes a few minutes a day and can be refreshing, relaxing and a simple yet enjoyable activity

Write A Business Plan
If you’ve ever thought about starting your own business, make 2018 the year that you start taking action. The first step to take is to write a business plan. Once you get your ideas down on paper, you’ll be that much more motivated to turn it into reality.

Read More Books
If you’re not in the habit of reading regularly,  you might be missing out. Reading has many benefits including mental stimulation, vocabulary expansion, improved focus and concentration and tranquility but to name a few. So set yourself a target to read more in the New Year
